Do you know where your thyroid is and what it does? The thyroid is located in your neck just below your Adam’s apple and controls your metabolism. It is important to have enough of the right vitamins and minerals including Iodine, Vitamin A, Selenium, Iron, Zinc/Copper, B2, B3, B6, and B12 for your thyroid to work properly. To make sure you are getting the correct vitamins, be sure to eat meats like chicken, fortified cereal, and leafy greens. If you are still having trouble getting the proper amount of nutrients, they can be found in a ‘Complete Vitamin’ available in any pharmacy, but check the label before purchasing to make sure.
