Union Settlement Association works with and for the predominantly immigrant community of East Harlem. A community mainstay since 1895, we foster leadership and self-sufficiency by assisting our neighbors in building better lives for themselves and their families. Today, we are one of the area’s largest social service agencies. Each year, we serve more than 13,000 people with effective programs in education, childcare, youth development, senior services, job training, the arts, nutrition, counseling and community development.
