The Harlem Health Promotion Center was founded in 1991 to serve as a bridge connecting those government agencies, academic institutions and community organizations concerned with improving the health of Harlem's citizens.
The Harlem Health Promotion Center is a collaboration of community, academic, and public health stakeholders which uses research, education, and service delivery to improve the health and well-being of the Harlem community.
