Segregation exhibit now open at the Schomburg!

The Schomburg Center welcomes the traveling exhibition put together in 2004 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Brown v. Board of Education: Courage: The Vision to End Segregation, the Guts to Fight for It

This exhibit tells the story of Brown v. Board of Education, and how the community worked together to begin the process that ended legal segregation of the races.

Dates: October 2, 2009-December 21, 2009

Location: Schomburg Center, Exhibition Hall and Latimer/Edison Gallery, 515 Malcolm X Blwd.

Hours: Monday to Saturday, 10AM to 6PM, Sunday, 1PM to 5PM

Cost: Free!
