Meeting about NYC's transportation - Transportation 2030: A Five Borough Blueprint

Join the talks to create a transportation agenda that works for all five boroughs. Be part of the discussion relating to our economy, safety and environment as New Yorkers. 

Event Schedule
9:00 am - Introductory Remarks and Keynote Address
10:00 am to 11:15 am - Plenary Session: Infrastructure Innovation and Finance: How Do We Pay for It?
11:00 am to 1:45 pm - Expo: Transportation and Technology
12:30 pm to 1:45 pm - Afternoon Breakout Sessions (attend one)

Attend the main meeting and then check out the breakout sessions. You can only attend one session because they are all at the same time. Here are some of the topics:

  • Breakout Session #1: Parking Reform and Reducing Congestion (changing parking rules and reducing traffic)
  • Breakout Session #2: Filling the Gaps in the Transit Map: Tackling the Two-Fare Zone and Transportation Deserts (areas that don't have enough bus and train stops)
  • Breakout Session #3: The 6th Borough: Utilizing New York City's Waterways (using more ferries and boats)
  • Breakout Session #4: Sharing the Street: Bike Lanes, Bus Rapid Transit and Other Street Redesigns (like pedestrian plazas)
  • Breakout Session #5: Safe Streets for All: Accessibility, Design and Enforcement (about traffic deaths and serious injuries on our streets)
