Join the Apollo team for this event named in honor of the man who revitalized our theater. You, along with your friends, neighbors, and co-workers can help raise money to support the Harlem Healthy Eating and Living (HEAL) Initiative. Over a 2k or 5k route, participants will either respectively walk or race to various locations featuring cultural programming, health screenings, and other activities for the entire family. The day ends with an outdoor concert.

Location: Starts at W. 135th St. and St. Nicholas Ave.

Costs: Varies. All walkers: $15. Junior and Senior racers who are members of the Greater Harlem Chamber of Commerce or the New York Road Runners: $9. For racers of other ages: members of the Greater Harlem Chamber of Commerce or the New York Road Runner $17. Non-members: $20.
