Get involved in making Harlem River Park safer

Happened August 18th, 2010

Transportation Alternatives and the Harlem River Park Task Force have been working since 2007 for safer access to Harlem River Park. Next week, the NYC Department of Transportation (DOT) will present their plans for pedestrian and bicyclist safety improvements for the three intersections around the entrances to the Park (135th and Madison Avenue, 139th and 5th Avenue, and 142nd and 5th Avenue). Thought you might be interested as these improvements will potentially allow people to be more active by enjoying the park more frequently.
