Bring your summer to a beautiful close with FREE Yoga Bliss yoga classes in Marcus Garvey Park in Harlem (124th St. and Madison Ave.). Join us every Monday evening in August (8/1,8,15,22,29, 7-8:30pm), where we will find our bliss beneath the billowing trees and the golden sunsets. Align your body, free your mind, and reconnect with nature and your true self.
Yoga Bliss yoga classes are taught in the flowing vinyasa style, where the movements are linked with the breath, creating a dynamic meditation in motion. These free outdoor classes are about coming together, meeting your neighbors, and expressing yourself more freely through a fun and creative yoga practice. Through the practice you’ll explore various postures that open and stretch the body so that you can let go of the day to day stresses, and feel better in your body and clearer in your mind.

Yoga is a great exercise to not just stretch your body but relax your mind. Last summer I worked out doing a workout program called p90x and the toughest but most rewarding part of the workout was the day of yoga. Yoga is a great way to just forget what's on your mind for that one hour. Hot yoga is even better if someone wants to shed the pounds away.
