The mission of “Cutting For A Cure” is to raise awareness and educate urban communities about the various forms of cancer by providing free exams for breast cancer, colon & prostate cancer as well as conducting workshops on health and wellness. 

Denny Moe’s Superstar Barbershop will be hosting the “2010 Cutting For A Cure”. This event is a 48-hour haircutting marathon to bring awareness to urban communities regarding  cancer education and research. For 48 hours there will be licensed barbers cutting hair, entertainment, seminars on various types of cancers, free health screening vans to test for breast cancer, colon & prostate cancer, cholesterol, diabetes, and high blood pressure. During the 48 hours there will be celebrity guests, healthy snacks, a variety of films, literature and plenty of giveaways.
