The Alzheimer's Association is having their 7th Annual Black History Month Celebration for "African American Male Caregivers" on February 6th 2013 from 6pm-9pm at the Langston Hughes Auditorium. It will be featuring the screening of "Barbasol" which is the winner of the Urbanworld Film Festival's 2012 Audience Award. Also featuring a panel discussion honoring the sons and husbands who care for those with dementia. Author, Psychologist, and TV Personality Dr. Jeff Gardere will be the moderator and the panel will include Dr. Georges Casimir of SUNY Downstate Medical Center, Director of "Barbasol" Ralph Scott, Keith Amparado of NYU, and Entrepreneur Stewart Brebnor.
