the Centennial of Romare Bearden with a special Harlem art gallery tour

This year is all about Bearden and, to celebrate, ArtCrawl Harlem will host a special, six-gallery, guided trolley tour focusing on the life of Romare Bearden during his tenure in Harlem. You will see the places that inspired him, his art, the art of his peers, and works of art by those who he inspired. The tour will visit selected Harlem art galleries, museums and art in public places, with your guide providing insightful commentary on Bearden's life, art and influence along the way. Each of the private galleries will offer art for sale. The reception will include dinner, wine and a live jazz band.
