Happened September 19th, 2012, 9:30am-12:30pm

On Wednesday, September 19th, Mount Sinai School of Medicine's Community Transformation Grant Coalition will be hosting an Active Design Workshop with the NYC Department of Health's Built Environment Program.

The workshop will be at Mount Sinai - 1425 Madison Ave (corner of 98th and Madison) on the 2nd Floor in Room L2-82.  The workshop is open to all community members.

A significant portion of the Active Design Workshop will be devoted to a small group hands-on design exercise. Participants will have the opportunity to map their suggestions for improving physical activity and health in a specific location.

We will be focusing our work around the possibility of bringing Play Streets to schools along Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard, and hope that you can come and be a part of the discussion.

Please RSVP to Devin Madden by Wednesday, September 12 at devin.madden@mountsinai.org or 212.659.9559.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out!

Thanks and hope to see you there.
