The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and New York City Department of Design and Construction invite you to attend a FREE hands-on workshop where families will learn how the design of our neighborhoods, streets and buildings can be used to encourage active, healthy lifestyles. Working as a design team, families redesign a city block to create a space where activities such as walking, biking, outdoor play, and using public transportation are encouraged.
