The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and New York City Department of Design and Construction invite you to attend a FREE hands-on workshop where families will learn how the design of our neighborhoods, streets and buildings can be used to encourage active, healthy lifestyles. An upcoming Art exhibtion at the Taller Boricua / The Puerto Rican Workshop will feature an art installation by Christina Massey titled "Meat Market." Through May the Nourishing Kitchen of NYC will be offering free yoga classes in the Target East Harlem garden on 117th between Pleasant and 1st ave (415 E 117th). All classes are extremely beginning level, so no worries if you're out of shape! Kids welcome!
