GrowNYC has a new interactive website that shows New Yorkers what things we've been throwing out that we can (and should) be recycling instead! At the top of that list is PAPER! Over 775.220 TONS of recycleable paper is thrown into the trash each year.

Mary Alice Lee and Maddalena Polletta work for the NYC Playground Program at the Trust for Public Land (TPL). Maddalena works as the coordinator of the NYC's Children's Gardening Program at TPL and is aware of children's interest in gardening and the natural world.
