If you have not seen the mini-documentary yet, you should. Nourishing NYC is featured as an organization that farms in New York City (with the help of thousands of volunteers) and distributed free of charge to those in need within the community. [CLICK ON THE LINK BELOW]
The film was created by Petra “Petrina” Engelke and Raul Mandru who film short documentaries in New York City.
In order to show how vegetables are grown in New York, we reversed what the plants do: We harvest in spring what we filmed in fall.
