I made the 'unofficial' New Year's resolution to eat more healthy in 2009. I fell into the "lazy" and "no money" trap/excuse to go next door to McDonald's for lunch on one too many occasions last year. So here is the plan...
1) Prepare food at home and take snacks (today I made air popped popcorn and put it in a ziplock bag)
2) Budget for veggies and fruits. This was something I cut back on to cut expenses when money was tight. Probably not the best place to cut, no?
3) Find new recipes. This simply because if I get bored with my food...there's an excuse for me to go out and buy something not so healthy.
Any suggestions? If you have any good recipes, let me know.
Good luck to you all who might be starting their New Year's resolutions to be healthy too!
