A research study is testing an investigational drug that may help improve blood sugar control. 

 

Qualified subjects will receive study drug, diabetes testing supplies, lab tests, and physical exams. 

 

A travel stipend and reimbursement for current diabetes medication will also be provided.

Thank you for your suggestion. I will look into that. As for general info: what we do is run studies that test investigational medications for either type II diabetes, weight loss, or both. The studies tend to be a year long with monthly visits. The visits are on Tuesday or Thursday mornings - that is when we have physicians available in our office. There are specific requirements for each study that will allow or not allow you to participate (ie. type of diabetes medication you are taking, your height/weight ratio, other health conditions etc.) I hope this helps!
